glucose（build182）における問題とお詫び
glucose build182ではRSSを登録したWeblogサイトの各エントリについてTrackBackの有無を確認し，存在する場合にはTrackBack元のエントリを同時に表示する機能が実装されています．この機能はMovableTypeで構築されたサイトに対しては適切に動作しますが，他のWeblogツールへの対応はなされていません．今回発見された問題は， News Handler で構築されたサイトに対してTrackBackの有無を問い合わせるメッセージ（具体的には「TrackBackのURI/?__mode=rss」）を送った場合に，そのメッセージがTrackBack Pingそのものであると解釈され，相手方のサイトには内容が空のTrackBack通知が多数残るというものです．サイトによってはTrackBackを受けると同時に持ち主の方にメールを送信するという設定をされていることがあり，その場合には多数の詳細不明のTrackBack通知メールが送られるという事態が起こります．現在はNews Handlerの管理者様と連絡を取り「?__mode=rss」への対応を行っていただいたため，同様の問題は発生しないと思われます．
問題点2：リダイレクト処理およびエラー処理に関する問題
登録されたRSSのアドレスが存在せずリダイレクト（転送）された場合の処理に問題があり，同じアドレスへのアクセスを繰り返すというバグが発見されました．エラー処理が適切でない（リトライを何度も繰り返す）という別の問題が組み合わされることで特定の条件下ではサイトに対して大きな負荷を与えてしまうことがわかりました．次バージョン以降ではこれらのバグを取り除くことにより正常に動作すると思われます．
