なんか全然書いてなくてすみません．誰に謝ってるのかもよくわからないけど．．．裏でこっそり進行している案件がいくつかあって，2月中旬ぐらいには随時公表できるようになる模様です．さて，RSS業界もすっかり様変わりしてしまって，すばらしい検索機能やら何やらが続々登場している．その中でsemblog.orgの2トップであるRNA＋glucoseはいかに生き延びていくべきかを考えないといけない．glucoseの方は進行方向がわりと明確になってきていて，Webにおけるエディタとはどうあるべきか，みたいな話を追求していきたいと思っている．まあ詳細は未定ではあるけれど．で，RNAはどうしようか．作り始めたころは，なぜ世間にRSSのアンテナが存在しないのかが謎で結果的に独走していたのだが，さすがに現在では類似品も多い．（が，いまでもスクリプトとして普通に配ってるものは少ない）この手のものはサービスとしてやったほうがよいという意見もちらほらと聞いていて，それはそれで正しいのだけれども，Hackを尊ぶコミュニティのためにソースをそのまま配布し続けていきたいという気持ちは強い．

さて，先ほども書いたようにRSS業界は巨大なDB＋推薦に向かう流れが出てきて，RNAのようなパーソナル型の旗色はよろしくない．なんせフィードされてくるコンテンツの量が違う．RNA的にもそういった流れは無視できなくて，次の2.0では推薦サービスとの連携機能がついてくる．が，何でも取り込んで何でもできるというのは何もできないのと同じなので，頭を冷やしてターゲットを絞ることを考える必要がある．

自分でRNAを使っていていいなあと思うのは，新しい知り合いグループが誕生すると即座にRNAを新しく作ってその人たちのWeblogを登録するとそのままグループのポータルになってしまうこと．すなわちバーチャルコミュニティー（の入り口）を実体化させること．多機能化の恩恵もあってその辺のJavaScriptしか出さないアンテナサービスとはそこが違う．各人のサイトにリストを取り込ませるだけではコミュニティを俯瞰することができない．なるほど，と自分で納得しているのだが，その線でいくとRNAの今後は複数のバーチャルコミュニティーを各個人がいかにマネージしていくかという話になって，コンテンツ量とか推薦の質の競争とは別のレイヤーの話になる．そうすると今度は各WeblogサイトがどのRNAにチェックされているかというTrackBackみたいなものができたら面白いのかもなあ，などと夢想は止まらないが，FOAFを工夫したらできそうな気もするし，いやその前にOrkutあたりにしてやられるのかもしれない．

しかしまあ半年ちょっとプロジェクトをやってきて，この業界の異常な速さはよくわかった．なんとかキープアップしてこれた（つもりな）のはユーザのみなさまのフィードバックのおかげです．バグの多さに呆れられた方もおられるかもしれませんが，近い将来に再び使っていただけるよう努力していきますので，今後ともどうぞよろしくお願いします．
